ENGLISH

Delia Zamudio, a loving mother of four children and a passionate Spanish teacher at Pioneer High School in Woodland, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Urethral Carcinoma at the end of January 2024. The cancer devastated her life and that of her family. Over the long months of her illness, Delia stopped working; her finances—and those of her children living at home—were greatly affected. In addition to the imminent physical problems, Delia suffered from a very deep depression that worsened her condition and that of her children, who never left her side.
Unfortunately, and after enduring a long and excruciating battle against her illness, the strongest woman in the world passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024. For this reason, we ask everyone who knew her and were touched by her example and love for any monetary help—no matter how small. The money raised will be used to cover Delia’s funeral expenses and the religious arrangements she wished for.

One of Delia’s greatest dreams was to finish and maintain her beautiful home—a dream she was unable to fulfill in her lifetime. For the children who still live there, this legacy is profoundly important, and they need help covering costs and preserving the cherished home they built alongside their mother. With hands on our hearts and tears in our eyes, any assistance you can offer will be deeply appreciated by them and the rest of her family. She deserved the world, and we wish to bid her farewell in the way she truly deserves.
