Assist Enrico's Family After Tragic Loss

My name is Daijah Bridgewater, and I am reaching out to request your support in raising funds for the funeral expenses of my brother, Enrico Hicks Jr.

Enrico tragically lost his life while heroically protecting a friend at his workplace. On December 19th, Enrico attempted to de-escalate a conflict between two individuals, both of whom he considered friends. In the process of ensuring his friend’s safety, Enrico was shot in the back and later passed away. He was only 25 years old.

Enrico was known to many as a big brother, a protector, and a hero—always willing to help those he cared about. His selflessness and bravery were evident until the very end. While the Detroit Police Department is actively working to solve this senseless crime, our family is left to mourn his loss and manage the financial burden of his untimely passing.

Unfortunately, Enrico did not have life insurance to cover the costs of a funeral, and we are trying to raise $8,000 to give him the proper burial he deserves. If you are able to assist, any donation would be deeply appreciated.
