Assist Glenda's Peaceful Transition and Memorial

My name is Maria McNeeley, my mother is Glenda Kay Johnson. My mother was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer 2 years ago. Her treatments were doing good for a little while. Unfortunately this year was when things went downhill rapidly for her. Even with surgeries they were unable to get all of the cancer. She wasn't doing chemo treatments anymore but was put on a strong medication that would help slow down the cancer.

In hopes that this worked for her it unfortunately did not. Without really realizing that her body was in fact rejecting the medication. This caused her to be extremely exhausted and have other symptoms that she felt were not a quality of life she wanted to live with. She discontinued her medication and that caused her symptoms to be more extreme.

Within only a few short weeks, my mom was transferred to Good Samaritan Hospital. Her medical team has done everything they can to help slow down the growth of her cancer but was unable to do so. My mother is officially in hospice care. With not knowing how much this is truly going to cost I wanted to share this story with everyone that knew my mom. She has her good days and bad days still but she has very little time left. She loves seeing her friends and family that visit so please if you have time she would love to see you. All donations will be going to her for her end of life care and other needs for funeral arrangements.

My mom has 3 beautiful grandchildren, many family, and friends that love her dearly. I want to try and make her time as stress free as possible for her. Thank you so much for anything that you can do for her.
