Assist Herculano's Family in Their Time of Need

Hi everyone, my name is Jahna and I am the goddaughter of Herculano Tucay.

On Sunday evening, Herculano Tucay, his wife Lilia, and their son were assaulted by a group of teenagers in a senseless act of violence. During the altercation, he sustained injuries that have left him suffering numerous seizures and unable to come off ventilation for a couple of days. At this moment, he is in and out of consciousness and in the Trauma ICU on high-flow oxygen, seizing and being monitored by neuro and a team of amazing medical staff that is providing the care he needs.

His wife Lilia is also hospitalized from complications from a pre-scheduled surgery and will be in the hospital recovering and unable to work at this time. With this being their current situation, on behalf of their immediate family, we are starting a GoFundMe to help with medical expenses and monetary donations to help with the financial burden that is expected while both parents are recovering from this experience.

It is very likely that this altercation will completely remove Lano from the medical field and he will no longer be able to do the career he knows and loves.
