Assist in Bringing Linda Home with Love

My mother, Linda, left us just after midnight, Tuesday September 24th, 2024. Her health was not in the best condition, but we did not forsee her passing when she went to the doctor for stomach pain about a month prior. She would undergo multiple surgeries, fight infections, and suffered multiple heart attacks. The day before she passed, she seemed lucid enough, and possibly on the upswing, we believed she would be coming home or some form of it eventually. The next day, we were urged to come say our goodbyes as they moved her into comfort care.

A bit about myself, her only child. I am 27, a mother to a 1 year old boy, and pursuing a career in skincare. I've taken a break from work to be present for my son and focus on my future. My partners income is just enough to get by, and we are in the process of seeking food benefits and other resources.

My mother and father have been married for 32 years. He is in his 60s and affected by dementia. He is unemployed and not currently receiving any government help, but is also in the process of seeking it.

My mother's wishes were to be cremated, and we cannot afford her cremation. I was able to find the best price in the area and have already received a generous donation of 260$ from a friend of hers. My mother was the kind of person to take care of everyone else, making it very difficult for myself to ask for this help. I cannot express the gratitude I have for anyone willing to help me bring my mother home. We will be forever appreciative of everyone's efforts and contributions. Thank you.

My mother was full of love for life, people, animals, and the beauty of the world. She was a faithful religious and spiritual woman who got her kicks from helping others in any way possible. She was the gentlest soul with a fiery wit and sense of humor that impressed us all. The amount of care she poured into loved ones is ineffable.
