Assist in Creating a Safe Haven for Loving Mother

Donation protected
We survived the disaster that Hurricane Helene left here in WNC, but I am in need of assistance building my mother a tiny home on my property. She rents the home she lives in, which has major structural damage on one end with the roof and major structural damage on the other end with the foundation. The foundation sank on one end of the home from all of the water during the storm. So in the kitchen, it's like you're walking down a hill on that spot, and it continues to get worse every day. There is a lot of splitting where the walls connect to the ceiling and are no longer connected. There was damage to the roof from a big tree that caused multiple broken trusses and a few big holes in the roof and ceiling. We have a tarp over the roof, but since the heat is out at her house, the moisture from the storm and beyond is causing mold issues to her lifelong belongings since no repairs have been done yet. She's currently still staying there during the day because she prefers to have her own space, which is understandable, but I personally don't think it's a safe place for her to be, and neither does anyone else who has come to look at the damage. The landlord wants to sell the property, so she can no longer stay there. It needs a lot done to it, and that just isn't something neither I nor my mother can afford, and she doesn't need to deal with it at her age. I would love for her to be safe and warm in her own tiny home on my property where I have power and septic, but we just cannot afford the cost of doing it all by ourselves, and we need some professional guidance. We have her in a camper as a temporary solution, but it's just not a good choice for a permanent housing solution at her age, and she is also not very enthusiastic about her current situation (understandably). She will spend the night with me but then leave and freeze in her home during the day. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

*Update*
We have been blessed with a tiny structure for my mother! It's just a small bed that opens up into a bathroom, but it's a step in the right direction! We need assistance getting it hooked up to our septic and electric. It currently just sits in my driveway until then. I also would love to build another section into it so she can have an area to sit and read and a kitchen if possible. It needs furnishings as well since most of her possessions continue to be destroyed by mold while they sit until I am able to get everything moved out. It's a lot of work, and I'm trying my hardest.

I have recently gained guardianship over my nephew. He lost everything at his mother's house during the flood. They had nearly 10 ft of water in their home, and everything of his was washed away. It's been very difficult on me trying to move my mother out while parenting my nephew, all while I try my hardest to figure out a permanent housing solution for my mother, as well as learning how to operate a camper during the winter for her and her cats. To say I'm stressed is an understatement, and I'm at a loss as to what to do. I was estimated nearly $2,000 just to hook up the electric, and that doesn't include the cost of having the septic located or hooked or furnishing her home. It's been too much for one person to deal with. I'm overwhelmed to the point of not knowing what to do. I would be very appreciative of any help sent our way. ❤️

Funds will be used to:
Locate septic tank : Starting price is $500 plus $120 an hour. If issues arise the price will increase, was quoted an estimated $1,300 from the head plumber
Hook up structure to septic: Starting price $120 and hr plus $200 for ½ a days rental for a backhoe or $400 for a whole days backhoe rental. If issues arise the price will increase
Hooking up electric: Starting price is around $2,000
Build onto structure to make it a proper living space: Have not gotten an estimate yet.
Furnish: Around $500
And if there is anything left, I will begin to help my nephew replace his possessions that were lost in the flood.
