Help Us Lay to Rest Aunt Rebecca & Her Son Bernard
Hello, my name is Kelen Ngure, niece of the late Rebecca Wanjiru and cousin to her late son, Bernard Njoroge. Our family has suffered an unimaginable loss, and we are reaching out for your support during this incredibly difficult time.
On October 25th, 2024, my Aunt Rebecca's family buried her daughter-in-law, Jane. Just days later, on November 6th, Aunt Rebecca passed away after a brief illness. But the tragedy didn't stop there.
On November 9th, my cousin Bernard Njoroge was suddenly struck with a severe illness while meeting with the family. He was rushed to Thika Hospital, but on the morning of November 10th, we received the devastating news that he had passed away. As of now, we are still uncertain about the cause of his sudden death.
As a family, we are heartbroken and in shock. The emotional toll has been overwhelming, and the financial burden is a heavy one. In Kenya, hospital bills must be paid in full before a body can be released, and we are struggling to meet these costs. We are hoping to bury both Aunt Rebecca and Bernard on the same day, and your help would make this possible.
We are asking for any support you can provide—no donation is too small. Every contribution will help us cover the medical and funeral expenses for both Aunt Rebecca and Bernard, and give them a proper and dignified burial.
Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity during this incredibly difficult time.
