Assist in Shedrick's Farewell Tribute

Hello, my name is Yolanda Simon.
I am the sister of Shedrick Ervin Ward Jr. My loving brother Shedrick, fought a long and aggressive battle with colon cancer. He began feeling bad back in November of 2023 and was misdiagnosed many times. It wasn’t until March 20, 2024 that he was hospitalized & finally received his proper diagnosis, which was stage 4 colon cancer. After completing his first round of chemo, we were hopeful that the chemo would work, but his body wasn’t strong enough for a second round. He began going back and forth to the hospital for repetitive blood transfusions, fluid retention, and to ease the pain. Within 3 months of his diagnosis, the cancer had spread to other organs and though he fought his hardest to stay here with us, my beloved brother's pain & suffering came to an end and he gained his angel wings on July 5, 2024.
My little brother Shedrick, was a U.S. Army veteran and a devoted Christian. He fought many battles in his life, including mental & physical abuse, PTSD, and Drug Addiction. And with the help of the VA he overcame them all! The programs at the VA set my brother on a new course in his life. They helped him with recovery & offered him employment, and that is when he began his Inspirational YouTube Channel “Stepping Stones Ministry “. His goal was to encourage other veterans going through similar situations & to fulfill the mission of the gospel through prayer & preaching.
My brother leaves behind one beautiful teenage daughter. Unfortunately, we did not foresee his passing, so your token of love would help with his burial arrangements and expenses.
The family “thank you” in advance.
