Assist in Spreading Ashes of a Beloved Husband

I am going to swallow a huge amount of pride and do something I never in my life thought I would find myself doing. In 2018, while on vacation at a jeeping event in Colorado, my husband took his own life. Years prior to his death, he had expressed a desire to be cremated and in lieu of a funeral, to travel to specific spots he had travelled to spread his ashes at some of his favorite places. I finally got to the point in my healing from his death that I can finally begin to fulfill his wishes and return to Colorado to one of the areas he loved to spread some of his ashes.

The event is from the 20th of July, 2024 to the 26th of July 2024. Due to several injuries, accidents, and illnesses, my savings account has been absolutely tapped out. This will be the 6th anniversary of his death and this event is what we were doing when he died. As bad as I hate to ask for any help, I need to try to raise the funds to pay for fuel to get there and home to Utah, replace the batteries in my truck and trailer, and pay for food and fuel for my jeep to participate in the event to spread the ashes. The money would also help pay for gas to get my daughter to the event as well to be there to share in fulfilling her dad’s wishes. Please help us fulfill my husband’s final wishes.
