Assist in Tavayne and D'andre's Last Homecoming

On Sunday evening, our community experienced a terrible tragedy: the loss of two young brothers, Tavayne and D'andre. The two boys lost their lives while swimming at a popular local spot in town. They showed incredible courage and loyalty, holding on to each other until the very end, demonstrating the deep bond they shared. Tavayne and D'andre always considered each other brothers, and when their parents Kerryan and Morris got married last year, it made their brother bond official. They were more than stepbrothers; they were true brothers to each other. Growing up in Jamaica, they did everything together, from playing basketball and riding bikes to gaming.

Tavayne and his mother, Kerryann, had recently moved to Maine in search of a better future. Kerryann had just started working towards obtaining her high school diploma, and being a role model for her boys was incredibly important to her. Both Kerryann and Morris work long hours at multiple jobs in the hopes of providing a brighter future for their children. D'andre and Morris were visiting for the summer before making the permanent move to be together again. Tavayne had just received his driver's license and was eager to start working. He and D'andre had planned to become door dashers, sticking together as always, with the hope of providing for the family and allowing their parents to finally rest. Monday was to be their first night on the job.

We are asking the community for help with the costs of funeral expenses, as both parents plan to bring the boys to Jamaica one last time, where they can be laid to rest in the place they will always know as home ❤️
