Assist Julie with Unexpected Truck Repair Debt

Julie took her truck into a repair shop to fix a faulty fuel pump. It was supposed to cost $500. But when the truck was returned to her, the bill was for $2,300 and the interior was torn up. Julie was surprised by the bill because she had not authorized the additional work on her truck. But what upset and surprised her the most was the fact that the interior of the truck was messed up with new holes in one of the seats. It looked like the truck had been taken for a joy ride! She got her truck back but she now owes $2,300. It’s a bill she cannot afford.

She has contacted Legal Aid and the Better Business Bureau and maybe will get some help from them, but it’s certain to take a long time. For now, she is stuck with the large repair bill and she has to start paying on it. She and Rob use the truck to go grocery shopping, to go to doctor appointments and for other basic essential transportation needs. They cannot get by without it. Julie needs our help to pay this bill. Please help her recover from this rip off. Thank you.
