Assist Kenneth Doty in This Time of Loss

Hello, my name is Kenneth Doty, disabled/retired.
My wife, Monica Doty, of almost 30 years, was tragically taken from me on August 1, 2024. She was a mother of 7 kids, 3 hers and 4 are mine, now grown and on their own with their own families. We never had children between us.
Monica was on SSI and I receive full disability.
We believed in helping others, and will always do so.
Now I have a $2500 bill with the mortuary here in Oroville Ca, to get her cremated that must be paid. I just paid our rent, utility bills and went grocery shopping for the month, then this occurred.
She went into a diabetic coma with internal problems suddenly.
It was 7 months ago when she lost so much weight, from 150 to 97 pounds. We went to the doctor and were told, "You're a diabetic", "Here is the insulin, here is the reader and sensor and here is the insulin".
We both were taken by surprise and knew very little about Diabetes. She was faithful in monitoring herself and injecting herself.
Between the two of us, we have been able to combine our income and make it through the months. Nothing lavish, just a simple, loving life, happy and grateful. We have been surrounded by these northern California wildfires and have had to evacuate once.
It has put a strain on our care for our dogs and cats and Monica's vegetable garden. We have had to spend more of our savings on gas and travel to safety. Our limited savings is now gone. I'm just looking for the 1k that is needed to pay the balance.
I am not sure of my future and plans are now changing. I have so much to do now.
Now, that has all changed. I put the last of our savings ($500) towards the cremation. I am going to continue assisting others, helping fire victim's with their pets, (as I live on 5 acres in the hills, and have room to do so) along with spiritual guidances, and prayer.
I thank all who help and understand this immediate need.
