Assist Lisa in Bringing Her Dad Home

Hello, I’m looking for help financially. My Dad passed away August 9, 2024. My Dad is currently at the VA HOSPITAL in Tampa FL. I’ve researched cremation in Tampa and the cost ranges from $1000.00-1500.00. I have been homeless since October 2022. I haven’t posted my situation, but that’s the situation. I have NO money to have my Dad cremated so he can be sent from Tampa to

The VA cemetery in Riverside, CA where my mom is buried, his plot is right next to hers. He deserves to be buried here in CA so my brother and I can visit both of parents. Right now we’re focused on getting him cremated and sent to the Riverside VA cemetery.

I wanted to describe my relationship with my Father. He was a great provider, protector and a fun Dad. When I was young (around 5 yrs old) we would have my Birthday parties in the backyard. He would ask if the kids wanted ice cream, then tell them to sit on the ice cream maker and start turning the crank. He thought that was so funny. As I got into my teenage years our relationship became pretty tumultuous as many teenagers experienced. When I became a young adult/adult I traveled with my Dad to Denmark twice and Barcelona, we had such a great time. So many memories. I could go on and on.

I just thought any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.
