Assist Maggie in Honoring Becky's Memory

Our beloved Becky Rumley recently passed on July 29, 2024 after a long fight against cancer. Becky was a wonderful mother, crafter, and community member and she touched the lives of those around her. She leaves behind Maggie Rumley, her daughter, who has been her full time caretaker for the past 10 months. 

Becky dedicated her life to being a mother and an active community member. She was living in Phoenix Arizona, where she loved helping others, enjoying all the events the city had to offer, and always having a craft project in the works. She was involved with the Walter Hive, where she volunteered to support local art projects, as well as a consistent harm reduction kit maker for Sonoran Prevention Works. Becky also loved live music, and continually went to shows with her daughter up until her passing. 

Throughout her treatment, Becky and her daughter became regulars at Cancer Support Community Arizona where they enjoyed weekly art classes and support groups.

We are all devastated by Becky’s loss and Maggie and her family are asking for support with funeral expenses, hospital bills, moving costs, rent, and food and other comforts. They had finally moved into a two bedroom as it was clear cancer was here to stay and Maggie had finally accepted letting go of her life in NC for the time being to support her mom. 

I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Becky’s medical bills and funeral expenses along with the other expenses that will be placed on Maggie.
