Assist Mikayla with Henry's Final Farewell

My name is Mara Clements and I’m making this GoFundMe for my daughter Mikayla Miller. Mikayla is a single mother of 3 young boys and works 3 jobs to make ends meet. (She works full time for the State of Wisconsin and has 2 part time jobs waiting tables/catering.) She is also a part-time student at Madison College.

The reason I’m asking for donations on her behalf is because she recently lost her grandfather. She had last spoken to her Grandpa Henry before Thanksgiving to invite him to spend the holiday at our house. He politely declined; saying he had already made plans. Last Sunday (12/8/24), a friend of Henry’s reached out to Mikayla to tell her that he hadn’t heard from him and that his neighbors reported that they had not seen or heard from him in a number of days. Mikayla immediately went to his home and knocked repeatedly on the door but got no answer. She then called the police to ask them to do a welfare check. Sadly, upon entering his home, the officer discovered Henry had passed away.

It doesn’t appear that Henry had a plan for something like this as far as cremation/burial was concerned. Mikayla is his only next of kin and unfortunately doesn’t have the funds to lay him to rest. Any donations to help lay Henry to rest would be appreciated. Thank you so much!
