Assist Mule Family to rebuild after Woodland fire
Donation protected
The Mule family of five, parents Jimi and Elenoa, and three teenage kids, aged 16yrs, 14yrs and 13yrs, lost all their possessions in the July 15th Woodland fire. The family are recent migrants to the USA. They migrated in Sept 2022 and settled in Woodland, which has been a great base for them.
On Saturday, June 15h, they were attending a fundraising church BBQ in Sacramento, when they were advised that their home was on fire.
They rushed to Woodland but by the time they got there, the house and three neighboring properties were all on fire. The fire department was already on site and working to put it out. Despite the intense California heat, they were thankfully able to contain it to the four homes and it did not spread any further.
From the family: "We are so grateful that no lives were lost and extend our sincere thanks to all first responders. Even though we have lost everything, we are moving on from the loss and focusing on our rebuilding efforts. And it is in that spirit that we are seeking assistance."
