Assist Nato Tupinambá in Honoring His Brother's Memory
Donation protected
Nato Tupinambá is a Brazilian Shamã from the Tupinambá Indigenous people, and a dera friend. He recently lost his brother who was murdered on a different town, and to get the body back to his village he will need $3.500 Brazilian reais for body transfer and $4.000 for the boat (back and forward to the village).
This process is usually done by the Indigenous Federation, however Nato's brother's body had no ID on him, and legally speaking FUNAI can't do anything until the law proves he is indigenous, regardless of knowing that he is. Nato't mother is in complete despair. It really goes against all their traditions to have a body they can't burry. It's been 30 days and Nato reached out for help, so here I am.
I am reaching to US supporters because I know I can get this funds faster. Many of you know Nato, and I am sure you can relate to his pain... I added some extra to cover for any additional expenses they might have and the transfer fees.
Please help Nato and his family get the closure they deserve so his brother might rest in peace.
Thank you!
