Assist Octavio Rincon's Family in Their Time of Need

Octavio Rincon was an immigrant from Mexico who moved to America at 17 years of age with the hope of making his widowed mother and three sisters proud. This dream was born after being inspired by his hardworking mother, who became a widow at 24 when he was only 2 years old. Even though his mind was set on his plan, God had a different path prepared for him. After spending years in America working to provide for his mother and his 3 sisters as the only man of the family, he met his wife Pily Rosas, and decided to start his family. He had his first child Dan (age 18), his second child Samantha (age 17), his third child Danae (age 9), and his fourth and last child Zahid (age 7). He made sure to be a hardworking father and lead his kids toward the right path by introducing them to God through Christianity. While working almost every single day, he always made sure to provide good memories for his kids. Every September and November, Octavio and his family would go on a camping trip where he taught his older son how to drive, hunt, and shared important life lessons. Every night, Samantha would tell him about her day and about the dreams she had. He would also make Danae’s birthdays special by doing what she enjoyed, like going to Skyzone and spending time as a family. He would never forget to take Zahid to Golden Corral, his favorite restaurant, at least once a month. Anytime someone needed something, whether they were blood-related or not, he was always there without hesitation.
In December 2023, Octavio and his family took a trip to Mexico to visit their family. Little did they know it was going to be the last trip they took. Shortly after, in April, Octavio grew a mass on the left side of his neck. The same day he noticed the mass, he headed to the hospital to get it analyzed. The doctors couldn’t find an answer as to what it was. At first, it grew slowly, so we thought it was harmless, but as more time passed, the mass grew, and the more it discomforted him. The doctors still had no answers to his sickness, and they would delay his appointments constantly. Finally, on September 2nd, he was diagnosed with lymphoma, also known as lymphatic cancer, and that same day he was hospitalized to receive emergency chemotherapy and radiation because the lymphoma was interfering with his airway. Therefore, he was unable to breathe and was immediately intubated that same week. After numerous complications with being in the ICU/critical care, he died from cardiac arrest on Saturday, September 28, 2024, a day before Samantha’s birthday. This news was truly heartbreaking since Samantha’s only wish for her birthday was to see her dad for one last time. Octavio was strong and committed, and we know he tried his best to battle his cancer so that he could be with his family, but God decided it was his time to rest and enjoy eternal life.
Now his kids have to go through the same thing he went through, growing up without a father, and his wife now has to raise 4 kids by herself with no stable financial support. Please help our family get rid of one financial burden and contribute towards our beloved Octavio’s funeral. Any donation you provide will be greatly appreciated.
