Assist Rico's Wife in Time of Need

Rico and I was married in 2019. Although he had some medical issues, that did not stop the love that I had for him or the love that he had for me and others. Rico was diagnosed with Spina bifida and was confined to a wheel chair. Rico also suffered with diabetes and high blood pressure, along with some other medical conditions that was beyond his control. In spite of my husband’s medical conditions and his limitations, he still tried to work as much as possible and was known for the awesome work that he did as a mechanic. On July 7, 24 my husband suffered a massive stroke; which caused bleeding on the brain and left him on a ventilator. On July 10, 24, test were ran and the doctors determined that there was no brain activity and by the state of Ga.; he was declared legally deceased. However; my husband could remain on the ventilator, but he would only be a vegetable. As a wife; I could not be selfish and allow my husband to suffer, so I made the decision to have him removed off the ventilator. Once I notified the insurance company, I was informed that due to my husband’s pre-existing conditions and not having the policy 2 years, they would only cover the monthly premiums that we had paid. Due to my health conditions; I only work part time and I’m unable to cover the cost of my husband’s burial ($4000). The funeral home has given me until Thursday July 18, 2024 to come up with the money. This has caused an extreme hardship for me and I am asking for assistance.
