Assist Ms. Langlois' Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Our names are Kayle and Alexis Langlois and we are raising money to assist our mom through this tragic time.
Our mom, Rochelle (also known as Ms. Langlois) had brain surgery *mass removal* on December 26th, just weeks after being released from the ICU due to other health related issues. The mass, deeper than they thought, was removed very close to the part of the brain that controls your motor function. Although the removal of the mass itself was successful.. our mom has now been left with minimal feeling and mobility on the left side of her body and devastatingly without the ability to walk. She is being transferred to a rehabilitation facility for treatment until she is able to return home.
The money we are raising for her will tremendously help our family with covering the never ending medical bills, paying her health insurance to maintain the care she is receiving, her chemo, purchasing speciality equipment, and assisting us with her other monthly bills until she is able to return home.
Our mom has been a Paraprofessional within the Bourbonnais School District for almost 30 years. Getting back to her students is one of the biggest reasons she is not giving up; she loves her job with everything in her and anyone that knows her truly knows how much it means to her.
Our mom has been out of work and without an income for months and the financial stress on top of the emotional stress has become overwhelming for our family. We understand that the holidays have just passed and not everyone may be in the position to donate. With that being said, we would greatly appreciate even just sharing this post as my mom's situation may touch the right person who is able help.
