Assist Skyler in Recovering Their Car and Livelihood

Hello, my name is Skyler. Thanks for reading :) I’ve been put in a very tricky place so I am asking the community for assistance.

To get right into the point, my vehicle which served many purposes including using for work as a food delivery driver, and my home for the past 2 years, was impounded and towed away from me on Sunday by the police department. I was parked in a public lot during the day, at about 9:30am.

I didn’t have anywhere to go until now I finally do have a safe and warm place to sleep for now. :). But my vehicle, belongings, income are now all accruing costs to retrieve more by the day. I’ve been living in my suv vehicle for about 2 years, and it has been quite a good experience honestly, but maintaining the vehicle is toally fundamental. Things became difficult about 2 years ago when I was rear ended in a vehicle accident, and my rear window and frame were severly damaged. It could have been much worse, but still, my home and my income were handicapped and I still haven’t been able to fully catch up on everything, which leads to today with my car being towed 6 days ago on Sunday 11/3.

There are outstanding fees on my registration, release fees from the PD, and the tow yard of course, so it’s looking close to $3,000 plus another $70/day to retrieve back my vehicle.

I have been spending my time outside of working by learning and enjoying my time outdoors, listening to a ton of podcasts, and am trying to create a product or service to marry my creative vision with things I’ve been fortunate enough to learn along the way, mostly about Health and Wellness, Energy and History and Religion. Love, Spirituality. I could use the funds beyond my goal to go towards firstly repairing my vehicle and getting the frame aligned which would be huge for it, and in addition, helping in creating my entrepreneurial vision to life.! But first and foremost to get my car out from the tow yard’s possesion.

Been a pretty crazy week to say the least haha. From some unfortunate circumstances leading up to this week, to meeting fellow houseless individuals here and the resources and kindness of people who support them, to trying to find a safe place to sleep and stay warm, it has been eventful no doubt. I have finally made contact with my sister and arranged a place to sleep so for now I am off the streets ❤️. But again I think at some point the tow yard can auction my vehicle, and it’s gaining more fees each day. And that’s currently what’s keeping me off the streets full time, and able to keep my focus on learning and creating.

Help me to raise funds and continue to try and be a positive impact on the world if you are able to and I’m extremely grateful for all of it. ❤️. And regardless I am going to pay forward all of the compassion I see in tbe world and that some share with me. I’ll leave it here for now but probably will update this message and answer any questions if there’s any or something.

Be a huge help on me right now, as I can’t even use my car for more work. I’m even grateful for the experience of experiencing houselessness, but it for sure is not ideal or somewhere I want to be much longer. Thanks for reading this far, god bless. ❤️
