Beloved Jersey City Father Passes Away Suddenly
Donation protected
On behalf of Brandy DeRocco (wife of Robert DeRocco) of Jersey City, NJ, we would very much appreciate any financial assistance (in lieu of flowers) that you can offer to her beautiful family during this difficult time.
Despite his brave battle, Robert "Bob" DeRocco passed away on September 5, 2024, as a result of Stage 4 Cancer. The onset of the disease was both sudden and aggressive, prompting multiple hospitalizations. His death coincided with the start of his eldest's freshman year in high school and his youngest entering the fourth grade. Although Bob struggled to find work the past few years in his profession as a Technical Program Manager, he was transitioning into his real passion to launch his own handyman business. He had a natural talent for repairs and fixing things like furniture, appliances, you name it. His passion business had just begun to take off shortly before being diagnosed.
Donations received will go towards memorial costs, medical expenses upwards of $300,000+, estate settlement costs, and education funds for Brandy and Bob’s sons, Lucas and Milo.
Brandy is preparing memorial arrangements in Bob's honor. She will share details as soon as possible.
More about Bob: Bob grew up in Holbrook, NY. He later moved and settled in NJ, but he also has ties to Northeastern PA. Bob was an outdoorsman at heart who enjoyed fishing and hunting whenever he could.
Bob was beloved in many communities for his bold personality and humor, handyman skills, and big generous heart that would "give anyone a hand". Please share this link widely with all who knew him. And also please leave words of comfort and strength for Brandy, Lucas & Milo below.
Thank you in advance for your prayers, love, and generous donations for the DeRocco family during their time of need.
