Life can be tragically unfair, and on June 22nd, our world shattered with the loss of our radiant Hope. This bright and beautiful 18-year-old, a recent high school graduate with a future brimming with possibilities, was tragically taken from us in a car accident.

Hope was carrying the miracle of new life, a tiny soul waiting to enter the world. But on June 15th, a terrible car accident took both their futures. The impact was on the passenger side, Hope bore the brunt of the crash, leaving her critically injured; brain bleeds, broken bones and internal damages.

She was Med-flighted to Cox South Hospital in Springfield, MO. Where she underwent immediate surgery to stop brain bleeds then underwent multiple surgeries and treatments. She fought valiantly for a week in the Critical Care Unit. It seemed like Hope might defy the odds. Thursday evening June 20th, her condition took a devastating turn. Despite heroic efforts, the extensive injuries proved insurmountable and we lost our beautiful Hope on June 22, 2024.

On June 29th, we laid our precious Hope to rest. No parent should ever bury their child. It's a truth echoed with every tear shed, a sentiment that cuts to the core.

The financial burden of this tragedy adds another layer of hardship to our already unimaginable grief. While some medical bills have insurance coverage, so many remain, and the funeral expenses have left us struggling.

We are reaching out to you, our community, in this time of immense despair. Any contribution you can make will ease this burden as we mourn the loss of Hope. Funds raised will go directly towards covering her funeral costs and any remaining amount will be used toward the mounting pile of outstanding medical bills.
