Assist the Mejia Family in Their Time of Grief

Hello everyone. My name is Jona Mejia. I am the wife of Jovany Mejia and the sister-in-law of both Geraldo and Michael Mejia. We just cremated my mother-in-law last year and weren't expecting to do this for Mike. He is the youngest of the three brothers.

On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, we got a call from a medical examiner saying he was found dead and they had his body. Our family couldn't believe this and went the same day to identify if it were true. All we had was a picture they had of him to confirm who he was. They couldn't give us any more information on how he died, but just that he was found in front of a building and was pronounced dead on October 30, 2024, at 7 am.

Please help my family. We lost our mom last year and now the youngest brother of the three. We still haven't recovered and are having an even harder time coping with this recent news. Mike was full of life, artistic, caring, and always there for the family. He lost a little of himself after our mom left this earth. He was 38 years young with an 18-year-old daughter and a 6-year-old son. We will miss him dearly. We hope mom is up there with open arms as she guides him to watch over all of us as well.
