Our hearts are heavy as we share the heartbreaking loss of our beloved mother, Norma Iris Velasquez. She left us on October 28, 2024 on the verge of her 66th birthday.

Iris was always the strength and center of our family, a loving mother to six children and a cherished grandmother to many. She moved from Puerto Rico to Arvin, CA in 1979. She worked in agriculture for over 20 years, until our Dad Angel passed away unexpectedly.

Her kindness, laughter, and love touched everyone who knew her. She was a guiding light for her family and a source of warmth and support to those around her.

Losing her has left an unimaginable void in our lives. As her family grieves, we are rallying to honor her memory and provide stability for her children and grandchildren during this challenging time.

This GoFundMe is to help with funeral expenses, day-to-day needs, and while we overcome the shock of our mom’s passing. Any support you can provide will be a tremendous help as we work through this difficult transition.
