It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Jefferson Elicerio Viloria. Jefferson, also known as Jeff, joined his mother, father, and brother Jimmy to be with the Lord on 11/29/24 at the age of 65 after a month-long battle with health complications following a heart attack. He was born in Manila, Philippines to Benito and Paz Alma Viloria. Growing up in a navy family, he spent his early years with his parents and three siblings (Karoline, Jesse, and Jimmy) between the U.S. and Philippines.
He followed in his father’s footsteps and joined the Navy at the age of 17, where he dedicated 14 years of service before an honorable voluntary discharge in 1991. He eventually made his way to Long Beach, CA where he met Josefina Fajardo who would become his wife of 28 years and the mother of his children, Briana and Justin. As his family, we are not only glad, but proud to call Jefferson, our husband and father. Despite life's hardships, he never backed away from the fight, never absolving himself of burden, but tackling it head-on and striving for better. He was a selfless, self-sacrificing, and hard-working man who did everything with the utmost love and admiration for his family. Outside of work, he was a loving family man who enjoyed his wife’s cooking, playing his guitar, and watching a good comedy sitcom like, “King of Queens,” “Everybody Loves Raymond,” or “Frasier.”
Jefferson is survived by his wife, Josefina Viloria; their two children, Briana Bolong (Joshua) and Justin Viloria; and sister Karoline Viloria Poore (Albert, Joshua, and Uriah) and brother Jesse Lee Viloria (Margaret and Genson).
