Assist Vendle's Mission for Affordable Home Services

We are the Vendle Team and my name is David, I am from Panama but lived my teen years in Tampa and I am a student-athlete at McGill University, and one of the 3 co-founders of Vendle. We are a group of senior university students from Duke University and McGill University who began our start-up 8 months ago. Furthermore, we are incorporated in Tampa, Florida, and are looking to enhance and redefine the home services marketplace. Our platform, Vendle, is a marketplace that connects homeowners with home service providers. Our focus centers around our users receiving affordable prices for top-quality home services. Instead of going about the traditional way of having homeowners reach out to service providers, our platform lets service providers reach out to homeowners. In turn, this allows homeowners to schedule effortlessly and receive on-demand quotes for customized requests. Additionally, home service providers will be able to reduce their marketing expenses, generate leads more efficiently, and enhance their workflow.

Witnessing the struggles of post-hurricane Tampa has been challenging for us, so we decided to launch our product earlier than planned. Despite our platform being incomplete and only partially functional, we adapted our service to manually facilitate debris removal for affected residents. Many residents faced difficulties in finding companies to clear debris due to high demand, and those that were available often had very high prices. To help, my team and I reached out to locals through Nextdoor to gather quotes from various companies and individuals. We aimed to provide the most affordable options available and connect residents directly with those willing to help, all at no cost.

Our current mission is to add the necessary additional features to get our product functioning at full capacity. We would love our platform to be in the hands of users soon, whether you're a cleaning company looking to scale your business or a homeowner in need of your home to be deep cleaned.
