Hello, my name is Aquanetta Thompson. I'm the auntie of Drequan Brumfield, and on August 27, 2024, at 2:45 pm, his life was tragically taken. Now, we are facing the financial difficulty of trying to plan and pay for his funeral. Drequan and one of his brothers were raised by his paternal grandmother from the age of six weeks old to the age of 23. Both his parents are deceased. Drequan was a happy and vibrant young man who mostly stayed around the house. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. However, at the time of his demise, he was home minding his business when someone he associated with called him to the road and took his life. Our lives have changed forever in one week. We weren't expecting this to happen, and now we are trying to pick up the pieces of our lives and move forward. He and his brother were raised by my mother and myself. His father died in 2007 from a motor vehicle accident, and his mother died four years later in 2011 from a heart attack.
