Assist with Jimmy Marshall's Final Farewell

Hello everyone who knows me ( Doe) and my family. On Saturday 8-10-24 we lost someone very close to me and my mother, James, AKA "Jimmy" Marshall. I am creating this GoFundMe for costs for funeral and service charges due to the low income of my family. During COVID my mom was retired but still working as a Psychiatric floor nurse and had to stop working due to the inability to utilize a N95 mask and had to stop working to get by. Jimmy worked as a waterman in Crisfield MD pulling up the crabs we all enjoy! He also worked as a roofer and construction worker off season. Jimmy then developed stage 4 lung cancer and went into 14 years of remission and became disabled to work. He and my mom continued to care for one another through the decades. He recently was diagnosed terminal due to the cancer coming back. Long story short, we will be having a service for him in Princess Anne MD on the eastern shore where he was born and raised and will need help for service and hotel stay for a night or two for me to take my mother and make sure the service is exactly what she wanted it to be.

He left minimal funds towards his funeral expenses and this would help us in any respect. Mom has also been dealing with a lot of health concerns that have caused me to focus on that and not working fulltime right now. I thank all of you in advance that can give whatever.
