Some of you may have heard of what transpired in Rowland Heights on 12/29/2024 near the intersection of Colima and Fullerton road. It's where my "only" son, James (Jimmy) J. Takeuchi, was gunned down in cold blood. Jimmy was a young, loving father of an one-year-old son. He was a journeyman roofer. He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. Somehow Jimmy would find the very best in everyone. He loved practicing martial arts and training others, often for free. Our family is devastated. We are left wondering why such a gentle soul was senselessly murdered. We are appealing to our community for assistance in helping pay for the funeral costs. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
