Assist with Rain's Medical and Cremation Costs

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I had the worst day of my life and unexpectedly lost my sweet baby Rain. I was in the living room with my toddler when I heard a thud in the hall and it was Rain falling over to her side crying in pain. I called my partner and asked him to come home from work because I didn't know what was going on and I was scared. I thought it was her back legs possibly or her having a seizure. She layed in the spot for a while and I tried to comfort her. She got up and drank water and went back to her bed. About 15 minutes later it happened again and I recorded it and called the vet. The vet squeezed her in for an emergency appointment. She had an ultrasound and they saw that her spleen was enlarged. Our vet told us her spleen would have to be removed and we should go to the ER where they will take her blood work and do another ultrasound. I gave Rain kisses and told her it would be okay and i'd see her when she got home and left with my sister to go home to our son while my partner drove Rain to the ER an hour away. When we got there they had Rain for about an hour before anyone came out and told us what was going on. I thought maybe they had already started the surgery but when the doctor came out he said Rain was not in stable condition to have the surgery as her blood pressure was too low. He told us he more than likely thought her spleen was swollen due to a form of cancer but was unable to get an aspiration. He gave us time to think it over and when he left he was able to get an aspiration from Rain. We decided we would try to get her stable and go along with the surgery but when the doctor came back he told us the aspiration came back as blood and that our baby was bleeding internally and her spleen likely had ruptured. He told us things had gone from bad to grave. While he was talking to us, there was an emergency and everyone ran to the room and it was Rain. Our poor girl was collapsing. He let my partner go to the back to see her while I video chatted on the phone. She was crying in pain. He said it looked as if she was losing consciousness and her body was preparing to go into cardiac arrest. Everything was so rushed and there was so much pressure we didn't know what to do but we decided for her sake to let her go and not let her suffer any longer. I talked to her over the phone while my partner held her in her arms and we said our final goodbyes to our beautiful girl.

With all that said I could really use any help to cover the costs of the bills we had to pay yesterday. We are living paycheck to paycheck and dont make enough to save anything at the moment. All the money spent was money meant to be for our car payment and rent. If anyone has it in their heart to donate and help our family in a time of need I will be forever grateful.

What you will be helping with is as follows,

Rain's first emergency visit at her vet $130
Rain's Er visit had to pay upfront $225
Rain's cremation had to pay upfront $330
Rains urn engraving and paw print $130.69
Anything additional will go towards the outstanding balance of her care yesterday $552.17

Thank you all. Please give your doggies twenty-four kisses for my Rainy. ❤️
