Assist with Rebecca Burgess-Rucker's Final Farewell

On behalf of two daughters who lost their mom, planning funeral services is hard, and also fairly expensive when you don’t have a lump sum of money saved up for it. Especially when you can’t find any life insurance policies for the deceased.

My mom, Rebecca Burgess-Rucker, passed away on September 29th, 2024, at Hospice within CAMC Memorial. She had been battling esophageal cancer that had metastasized to her lymph nodes and, unfortunately, lost her battle with her illness as the treatment caused DIC.

She left behind her husband of 36 years, Larry (66 years old), her younger sister Beth Skiles, and her two daughters, Desirae Rucker (20 years old) and Brittne Rucker (32 years old). She went to Stonewall Jackson High School and graduated with the class of 1982.

Any help is appreciated and anonymity is welcomed. Do not feel bad if you are unable to donate a lot. A little bit from a lot of people does add up and every dollar is appreciated.
