Assist with Unexpected Relocation Costs

Thank you everyone for your donations! With your help, I was able to get myself together during and after the hurricane. Moving to Florida during Milton was difficult and I'm glad I had friends and family to help me. Thank you!

As most of you know, I relocated to Florida for a job with FEMA. I paid for it myself and received no relocation assistance.

Most of you also know that Hurricane Milton hit as soon as I got here. I had to cancel flights to get earlier flights, cancel hotel stays, and add hotel stays in different cities, most with additional change fees. My furniture and car are in another state, and I have an empty apartment, so I'm adding additional stays in a hotel. I'm not sure when my things will get here. I don't have transportation, and I'm using Lyft and Uber. These events have eaten into my budget. Donations will go to additional hotel nights, transportation, or to my apartment space in some way.

I'm not out on the street. I would like a little assistance though if you're willing. If not, thank you for thinking about me on my journey.
