Last month my daughter put up close to 3500 dollars to move in to a new residence closer to the school her children attended. She was approached by someone looking to rent out a property that they claimed to have ownership of. Upon moving in to the house she was told by an officer that the house was in fact owned by someone else and that they would probably have to vacate the residence. She was also told by the officer. that he would see what could be done. He also advised her not to open the door if someone else came out. A few days later another officer came out banging on the door threating to break the door in. When they opened the door they were met with cusrsing and threats of arrest in front of the two younger children traumatizing. them both. They tried to explain to the new officer but he had no remorse instead treating them like they had done something wrong. instead of being victims themselves. My daughter is a hard worker but like many lives paycheck to paycheck. Her family at no fault of their own .has now lost the security of of place to call home and are now homeless. If anyone can help it will greatly be appreciated and will be paid forward
