Assistance for Ashley Cramer McClintock

Donation protected
On Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022, my sister Ashley was severely injured in a traumatic accident in Peters Township due to a mechanical failure on her vehicle.

She was in the process of taking her kids to school when she placed her vehicle in park and stepped out to grab a book bag from inside of the house. As soon as she stepped out of the vehicle, it started rolling. Due to the slope of the driveway, her vehicle (with all three children inside) began rolling backward and toward a neighbor’s home.

Ashley frantically attempted to get back inside and was successfully able to jerk the steering wheel, causing the vehicle to change course and back into a hillside next to the driveway. This action stopped the vehicle from rolling toward a public roadway, other houses, children walking to their bus stops, and ultimately allowed my niece and nephews to escape unscathed from physical injury.

In the process of doing so, Ashley was run over by the vehicle resulting in critical injuries to multiple areas of her body. She was immediately airlifted to Allegheny General Hospital after receiving tremendous care from firefighter/paramedics with Peters Township Fire Department. She will undergo surgery today to attempt to stabilize multiple fractures in her pelvis, hips, and spine, among other injuries that will require further treatment.

My family and I will do whatever is needed to ensure that she and her kids are taken care of, but we’ve been fielding many messages and phone calls from people wishing to help. Therefore, I established this page as a way to do so. We are so fortunate to have a large network of friends and loved ones that care and are forever grateful for them

Ashley is a single mother with three kids and a local small business owner. Her income will be severely affected as we look at a significant recovery and rehabilitation process ahead.

Anyone knowing Ashley can tell you of her kindness, and willingness to help others with anything they are struggling with. It’s foreign for any of my siblings or me to ask others for help, for we were always taught to lead a life of service towards others. This can often make it truly difficult to ask for and accept help when it is truly needed in return. Any funds raised through this site will go directly to support Ashley and her kids to help offset the loss of income and medical/rehabilitation costs.

Please consider writing a note below, and we'll share those with her when the time is right.

With love and gratitude,

Jordan Cramer
