Assistance for family displaced by storm

Duringt strong windstorm on 10/26/2019, my family had the shock of their life when one of the giant trees next to their house uprooted and came crashing down on the roof,  completely demolishing one side of the house, upstairs and down.


My mother had been lying in bed, when my brother came in her room asking her to come look at where a tree branch had damaged his car. As soon as she arose from the bed and took two steps into the living room, the giant tree came crashing down on the roof right on top of the spot where she had been laying. If she had hesitated for even 5 seconds, she would have been crushed by the tree. We are grateful for the angel that kept her safe through what could have been her last moments. 

But now they're left scrambling for 
solutions to the growing list of problems they're up against. They had been renting the home since 2014 and unfortunately did not have renters insurance. Now not only are they having to cover the expenses of a temporary living situation, they're looking at first and last months rent for a new place, security deposits, utility deposits, and the nightmare of moving a 2 story, 4 bedroom home (minus my parents room as everything that had been in there is destroyed). 

I created this fund as a means of reaching out to our community for any help they can offer. My goal is to help my parents cover some of the costs they are currently facing 

None of us ever imagine that something like this could happen to our own families until it does. We will be forever grateful to all that donate to this fund. Thank you.
