Assistance for Jenny Zeller and her Children

With deep sadness, Jenny Zeller lost her beloved husband, Ian Baker, on October 26th, 2022. From the time Ian was diagnosed with malignant melanoma to the day of his passing, the family had only six weeks with Ian.

Ian Baker was a kind man, a gentle soul, a loving father to his two adult children, and a devoted stepfather to Jenny's two young daughters. Jenny and Ian believed their union was a true blessing, as their love for one another shone so bright. After being newlywed on December 18th of, 2021, they looked forward to a long thriving life together.

Sadly, after only ten months of marriage, Jenny lost her husband to cancer. In their joy of creating a new life together, Jenny and Ian were neither emotionally nor financially prepared for what was to come.

Newly widowed, Jenny is now left to raise her two young daughters as they grieve their loss of the remarkable man they thought they would have a long life with. Unfortunately, this has also left them in a situation in which their housing security is uncertain. Due to Jenny’s epilepsy and two chronic auto-immune illnesses, she is currently unable to work. At a time of such deep sorrow, we pray that together as a community; we may help Jenny and her girls.

The target amount set helps Jenny manage the immediate few months and buys her some time to figure out how to manage the future with her children.

Any amount over our target will take the pressure off the coming year as Jenny mourns the loss of her husband and adjusts to her new reality.
