Assistance for Lorri Hubert

Lorri Faith Hubert-Alpha Eta, Fall 86, step mistress, Assistant Dean of Pledges Spring 88, Woo Woo, 1989 VSU Pan- Hellenic Council President and loving Soror to all is battling stage 2-Breast Cancer-IDC (invasive Ductal Carcinoma). While, she has posted health concerns and testimonials on Facebook, she doesn’t want the cancer diagnosis on her general page as she must think of her two sons who are having a very difficult timewith the news.

This is the second form of cancer for Lorri. She suffered Thyroid Cancer which led to her having an autoimmune disease called Bullous Pemphigoid. This rare disease mimics a “Leukemia” as it runs though the blood and in extreme stages can be fatal. In June of 2016, Lorri was placed on chemotherapy in an effort to suppress this condition. To her dismay, Soror Lorri came out of remission in January 2020. To compound her health concerns, in May 2020 Lorri was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She is scheduled for a lengthy surgery in September and needs support for her deductible.  The Donna M. Saunders Foundation donated a large chunk but she still needs $4000.00.  I am coming to you in hopes that we can rally around her to get this paid off. She needs to concentrate on healing and this bill is causing stress.  Thank you in advance for your kindness.
