Assistance for Michelle and the Allport family

Hi there - We have known the Allports through their long and generous association with Surf Lifesaving on the Gold Coast.

The family were dealt a devastating blow on Christmas night during our horrendous storms, courtesy of a tree which landed on their car while they were travelling home from Christmas celebrations.

Michelle has sustained serious injuries and is in Gold Coast University Hospital - one surgery already down and more likely, with a long rehabilitation ahead. This family is no stranger to serious medical issues and challenges but they are always the first to throw up their hands to help others in need.

While Michelle's return to health is the priority, husband Matt and their children Max, Isaac and Eloise will also need our on-going support during this long road to recovery.

We are asking for assistance from not only the Surf Lifesaving Community, but those close to the family, the local Helensvale community and their children's school and other sporting associations the family have given so generously to in the past.
