Assistance for the Curic Family

On October 18th, 2022, the Arapahoe community lost one of our beloved custodians, Remzija Curic.

Remzija began working at Arapahoe High School in 2005. He was a fixture of what it means to be a Warrior. At AHS, “Warriors always take care of one another.” Remzija was the embodiment of this message. From early morning greetings of "Hey, hey! How are you?" to ensuring our campus was ready for students and staff, he cared for the people and our building with the highest expectations. Remzija emphasized serving others more than himself. Sadly, his family, our staff and student body lost this Warrior too soon. Remzija is survived by his wife and best friend, Zijada Curic, and his twin boys, both LPS high school students. He has taken care of us for so long; it’s now time for us to take care of his family.

The loss has left the family reeling from the expenses of Remzija's passing. Both Remzija and his widow are LPS employees who have served the LPS community for many, many years. Please consider supporting our beloved Warrior and his family.
