Memorial Fund for Berenice Felipe

Here is Berenice on a scuba diving adventure with the ever loving and generous Salika family.

We've all been devastated by the recent news of the fatalities upon the Conception boat fire on Labor Day.

Please consider donating money for Yadira Alvarez, Santa Cruz resident and surviving mother of 17 year old Berenice Felipe who perished in that boat fire near Santa Cruz Island.

Berenice was on a three day scuba diving trip in the Channel Islands  celebrating her best friend, Tia Salika's 17th birthday. Tia's parents, Diana Adamic and Steve Salik, were also on the scuba diving trip. Tragically, they all died in the fire, along with 31 other passengers.

As a friend, I would like to raise money for Yadira to assist with already mounting, unexpected expenses and to help her navigate through the grieving process.

She is a widow and a single mother who now has only one younger daughter named Renata.

Yadira is in great need of support at this time through finances, as well as community outreach and condolences.
