Assistance: Funeral expenses for Jeniphar (Chandinga) Nyati
Donation protected
On behalf of the Zimbabwean and broader African community in Western Australia, we are urgently appealing for your help in the wake of a tragic loss in the community,
Jeniphar (Chandinga) Nyati, a 52–year-old lady visited Western Australia with her husband to see their two international students, only to have the visit cut short on the 21st of August 2024 when she become unwell. Although paramedics responded promptly, attempted resuscitation, Jeniphar’s condition rapidly deteriorated in the Emergency Department, leading to a four-day stay in ICU. Sadly, due to severe brain damage, Jeniphar’s journey on earth ended, and she was taken off life support after extensive consolations with all doctors involved.
Jeniphar's untimely death has left her family devastated and facing significant financial challenges. Her two children, who are international students, are now grappling with the emotional and practical burdens of her loss and steps.
To honor Jeniphar's memory and support her family during this difficult time, we are launching this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for her repatriation back home and to help cover the associated medical and funeral expenses. The family has just received the huge hospital bills despite the loss, which still need to be paid in addition to the repatriation and funeral expenses.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference. Please join us in showing your support for Jeniphar's family and helping them through this incredibly challenging period.
Thank you for your generosity and compassion.
With heartfelt gratitude,
(Representing the Nyati Family)
