Assistance with medical devices and medication

Hello, and thanks for your support.

My name is Marcus, l suffer from COPD, asthma, sleep apnea, angina and bowel disease. I’m on trial medication which is $320 a fortnight plus transport costs, l require a new nebuliser and CPAP machine, as both machines are failing, and also require a part for our vehicle, to be able to attend appointments.

l only receive disability benefits and no immediate family to support me, apart from my wife and grown kids, as much as possible.

Any assistance would be appreciated, l applied for NDIS in January, and am still waiting on an answer, l applied in September 2023, and was told l would recover, even though Copd is a terminal illness, although the NDIS won’t fund most medical machinery or medications.

l have now been assisted by Each and a NDIS application assistant.
