Mes chers amis et ma tendre famille,

Merci de tout l’amour et l’encouragement dont vous m’avez comblée depuis mon tout premier 13 avril. Pour mon anniversaire cette année, j’aimerais partager avec vous trois causes qui me tiennent fortement à cœur et pour lesquelles je serais reconnaissante de votre soutien. Ce serait mon plus beau cadeau, et je l’espère aussi, une merveilleuse grâce pour les bénéficiaires que je voudrais soutenir.

Il y a près de 3 ans maintenant, j’ai créé l’association Crescence en l’honneur de la femme exceptionnelle qui est ma mère, et qui au-delà de m’avoir donné la vie en ce jour, m’a toujours profondément inspiré par sa générosité, sa force et sa créativité.

L’association Crescence est une organisation apolitique à but non-lucratif, constituée de très belles personnes, qui mettent à contribution leur énergie, leur talent et leur cœur pour réaliser nos missions sociales et culturelles. Cette année, nous continuerons notre action avec trois projets phares.

1. L’accompagnement alimentaire et sanitaire de 50 enfants de la rue à Yaoundé

En partenariat avec l’organisation Camerounaise de lutte contre le phénomène des enfants de la rue (OCALUCOPER) et DOMINO charity International, nous mettons cette année ces enfants vulnérables au cœur de notre action sociale. Le nombre d’enfants vivant dans la rue étant croissant, nous souhaitons prendre en charge les besoins :

Alimentaires : Soupe populaire (cantine journalière)
Sanitaires : Mise à disposition de matériel pharmaceutique au siège de OCALUCOPER pour une durée d’un an
D’épanouissement psychologique et d’insertion sociale : visite mensuelle d’un psychologue de Domino Charity, participation à des activités culturelles et éducatives, cours de danse et de musique
Logement permanent et temporaire en fonction des disponibilités de familles d'acceuil minutieusement sélectionnées

Notre budget pour cette action s’élève à 5.000.000 francs CFA, soit 7.620 euros, 12€/enfant/mois. Ma contribution personnelle à cet effort est de 500.000 francs CFA.

2. La réalisation de 3 représentations de la comédie musicale Ashouka en décembre 2022

En 2019, la comédie musicale Ashouka entre en scène devant plus de 300 spectateurs avec la participation et en faveur des orphelins de Sainte Thérèse d'Obili. La pièce explore en musique, danse et théâtre les problématiques d'identité culturelle, de rôle des genres, de respect de la tradition et de responsabilité sociale à travers la mésaventure de trois amis. Parfois en effet, il suffit d’une expérience extraordinaire pour faire grandir des personnes ordinaires.

Notre budget pour 3 spectacles en décembre 2022 s’élève à 14.700.000 francs CFA, soit 22.479 euros. Ma contribution personnelle à cet effort est de 1.000.000 francs CFA.

3. La production de la seconde édition du livre Estou Raconte

"Tant que les lions n'auront pas leurs propres historiens, l'histoire de la chasse glorifiera toujours le chasseur" Chinua Achebe.

"Estou raconte l’Afrique" est le livre bilingue que moi petite, Estou aimerait avoir lu sur les richesses de mon beau continent.

Je suis heureuse de couvrir totalement les frais de production et ne vous demande qu’une chose, c’est de le lire, de m’envoyer votre feedback, de l’offrir à vos êtres chers et de participer avec moi à cet engagement de faire connaitre et aimer encore plus l’Afrique.

Tous les bénéfices des ventes du livres sont reverses à l’association Crescence.

My dear friends and family,

Thank you for the tremendous love and encouragement you have offered me since my first April 13th. For my birthday this year, I would like to share with you three causes that are close to my heart and for which I would be grateful for your support. This would be the most incredible birthday gift, and hopefully a blessing for the beneficiaries I would like to support.

Almost three years ago, I created the Crescence association in honour of the exceptional woman who is my mother and who, beyond having brought me to the world this day, has always deeply inspired me by her generosity, her strength and her creativity.

Crescence is a non-political, non-profit organization with beautiful people who pour their energy, talent and heart to achieve our social and cultural missions. This year we will continue our efforts with three main projects.

1. Food and health support for 50 street children in Yaoundé

In partnership with the Cameroonian organisation for the fight against the phenomenon of street children (OCALUCOPER) and DOMINO Charity International, we are putting these vulnerable children at the heart of our social action this year. As the number of children living in the street keeps rising, we wish to take care of three order of needs:

Food: Soup kitchen (daily canteen)
Health: Provision of pharmaceutical equipment at OCALUCOPER's headquarters for one year
Psychological development and social integration: monthly visit by a psychologist from Domino charity, participation in cultural and educational activities, dance and music lessons
Permanent and temporary accommodation depending on the availability of carefully screened host families

Our budget for this action amounts to 5,000,000 CFA francs, i.e. 7,620 euros, that is 12€/child/month. My personal contribution to this effort is 500,000 CFA francs.

2. Three performances of the musical Ashouka in December 2022

In 2019, the musical Ashouka was performed in front of more than 300 spectators, with the participation of and for the benefit of the orphanage Sainte Thérère d'Obili. The play explores in music, dance and theatre the issues of cultural identity, gender roles, the modern relationship with traditions and social responsibility through the misadventure of three friends. Sometimes it takes an extraordinary experience to make ordinary people grow in empathy!

Our budget for 3 shows in December 2022 is 14,700,000 CFA francs, or 22,479 euros. My personal contribution to this effort is 1,000,000 CFA francs.

3. The production of the second edition of the book Estou Explores

"As long as lions do not have their own historians, the history of the hunt will always glorify the hunter" Chinua Achebe.

Estou discovers Africa is the bilingual book that I, as a child, would like to have read about the riches of my beautiful continent. Happy to cover all the production costs, I only ask you to read it, send me your feedback, give it to your loved ones, and participate with me in this commitment to make Africa’s stories more widespread and appreciated.
