Aston Caleb Evenson

This is for my amazingly strong sister and brother in law and their family during the loss of their sweet 2 year old. Our hopes are to cover funeral costs and show our love and condolences.

“Our sweet Aston Caleb Evenson passed away this morning around 3am. He had been sick with what we thought was a stomach bug and had been vomiting and had diarrhea. He became more lethargic as the day went on. We were changing his diaper in sometime around 2am and he became very unresponsive and had labored breathing. We decided to take him to the ER.

Before we walked in the door he stopped breathing in my arms. The doctors, nurses and EMS team worked on him for over an hour. They were unable to bring him back. There was a lot of what looked like old blood to the doctors in his lungs and making it difficult to intubate. It is do to some sort of complication with his heart, lungs, or stomach/bowels. They will not be doing an autopsy to determine the cause due to his complicated medical history. They did everything they could and Dr Jou came as soon as he could as well. There was nothing more that they could do as our sweet boy passed onto the other side. Our wonderful family and friends have been so helpful and we have had so much support. We don't know what the next steps are or when services will be.
