    Asuna’s Color Darkroom is a Black owned photo lab in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY.


Unfortunately due to unprecedented events, we've been put in a position that isn't quite secure.

As most of you know COVID-19 placed a pause on all of our lives and quickly became a financial issue for many of us.

We planned on Launching to the public in March, but this pandemic has shifted our plans...  

Our Team Consists of three young black hard working individuals that put our every dime from our paychecks into this idea.

Earlier this year we had a successful Pre-Launch; we allowed a few artists to come and use the facilities as a trial, to gauge where we can further enhance the artist's work flow.  Our small Community continues working hard to further birth this idea and to watch it flourish.

Asuna’s Color Darkroom is made BY the PEOPLE , FOR the PEOPLE; 

Asuna's Color Darkroom's community serves ANYONE who seeks involvement in the processes of Developing Film and Printing .

In hoping to serve its revolving community, the Darkroom is attentive to this concept of information and ‘schooling’ willing to offer students and customers a hands on experience, becoming familiar with the lab's workflow.

In its full functionality, Asuna’s Color Darkroom will provide with donations;

- Color (c41) and Black & White film development & Hi-Res Scanning
- Contactless pick-up and delivery service
- Private RA4 color darkroom rentals
- 24/7 lab access memberships 
 -Basic and Advanced printing Classes
- Asuna's artist residency program
- Student Discounts on developing and scans
