D86: Neighbors In Need

No child, anywhere in America, should be denied an excellent education because they lack the financial resources or supplies to be successful in the classroom.
Currently Hinsdale District 86 has 75 students who qualify as homeless and 641 who qualify for financial assistance. These students are in need of basic necessities such as clothing, classroom supplies and access to financial support so that they can participate in sports, clubs or activities and have a successful and rewarding high school experience.
Our Go Fund Me goal is to raise money so that these individuals, who are homeless or in financial need, are cared for this school year. These are kids that walk the hallway with our kids. Why not go local to spread cheer this holiday season? Let's make a difference in the lives of the families in our own community.
