A Labor of Love for Leone

Can I tell you a story about Steve Leone? 

I met Steve in the trailer of the model home, while he and Janine were picking out colors and shutters for their first home to be built here in Georgia. Upon discovering that he was a hygienist and looking for a job, I hired him immediately. That was in 2004. This was the beginning of a beautiful friendship and a huge following of patients he would have throughout his career. 

With 4 boys to feed, Steve has worked tirelessly 5 days a week with us here at West Cobb Dentistry. Patients love Steve with his great sense of humor, gentle hand cleaning their teeth and even sometimes being the psychologist while patients were sitting in his chair. Steve has prayed with us, over us and with many of his patients over the past 20 years.  In 2018, Steve also joined the team at Hester Dental in Kennesaw where he is considered family there as well. 

SteveO as we call him, is now facing one of the biggest battles of his life. Pancreatic Cancer. The day Steve told us of his diagnosis, his unwavering faith remained steadfast and true. He said “ Let’s keep trusting Jesus. Our circumstances do not determine His beautiful majestic character. Let our laughter continue, it is good medicine for us

He will endure chemo and surgeries over this year leaving him unable to work at times and see his patients.
