Under legal advice from our attorney, the baby's picture was removed from the GoFundMe. My son Shannon is still pursuing parental rights of his son Ashtin While we understand that times are difficult for everyone, WE NEED YOUR HELP MORE THAN EVER!! WE HAVE BEEN TO COURT AND WE WERE GRANTED A 1 HR WEEKLY SUPERVISED VISITATION TO VISIT WITH ASHTIN TO ALLOW ASHTIN TO GET TO KNOW US!! OUR NEXT COURT DATE IS SEPTEMBER 13, 2022. I PRAY IN THE NAME OF JESUS THAT WE WILL BE ABLE TO START SHARED PARENTING ON THE 13TH OF SEPTEMBER WE ARE UNABLE TO MEET THE FINANCIAL COST OF AN ATTORNEY WITHOUT YOUR HELP!! WITH YOUR HELP WE HAVE RAISED $1,000.00 AS OF TODAY. LINDSEY HUTCHINSON IS OUR ATTORNEY. LINDSAY'S RETAINER FEE IS $1500.00 TO TAKE THE CASE AND THEN $250 PER HOUR AFTER WE GO THROUGH THE $1500. Approximately 2 1/2 yrs ago my son found out that he was going to become a father for the first time . Shannon was ecstatic to say the least Things started going awry in that relationship and becoming very unhealthy for all parties, so my son chose to leave while the mother was still pregnant. We have been kept out of the baby's life for over 2 years
Shannon was not allowed to go to doctor's appointments or be present when the baby was born. We have really just started having visitation with the baby after 2 years. We go back to court on Tuesday, September 13th, to hopefully start shared parenting. I'm asking for donations and praying in the name of Jesus that these funds will be provided so that we can start our life with my grandson.
