Sean's Recovery
Donation protected
On Sunday, June 6th Sean was rushed to Auburn Multicare Emergency Room at 11:40PM for heart attack symptoms. We arrived moments before he experienced a major heart attack called the "widow maker" that has a 6% survival rate.. he proceeded to code 3 times. The medical team in Auburn was able to place a stent and stabilize Sean long enough to transport him to Tacoma General Pulse - Intensive Care Unit. He was placed on life support for 24 hours and has received medical care for his heart, lungs, kidneys and physical/occupational therapy. It has been a very scary, long road for him, his wife, his family and his friends.
Sean brings so much love, light and joy into this world and is a fighter. He is healing, but still has a long road ahead. We are still in disbelief that he experienced such a sudden, serious heart attack at the young age of 30, with no previous signs or symptoms.
We will use these funds to cover medical bills, procedures, rehabilitation and ongoing medical needs as a result of his heart attack. Any funds not utilized in this recovery will be donated to the MultiCare Pulse Heart Institute Donation Fund - as a pay it forward and huge thank you to the amazing efforts of the surgeons, doctors, nurses and physical therapy staff.
We ask that if you cannot donate monetarily that you consider donating blood, as blood banks are low, and donations saved Sean's life in his most critical moment of need.
Any donations you are able to make at this time are greatly appreciated - THANK YOU for the love, prayers and support.
